How does the "pay-when-issued" pricing work?

You buy issuance credits in advance, and each time a customer earns points at your store, those credits are drawn down. No subscription, no minimum, no shelfware.

Do I need any hardware?

No. Carrots runs through the Carrots Merchant Portal (web-based) on any phone or tablet. POS integrations available for Growth and Enterprise plans.

What if my customer doesn't have the Presto app?

Customers can still earn points using just their phone number. However, they are required to sign up as a Presto App member if they wish to redeem products or services, or check their Carrot Points balance.

Who owns the customer data?

You do. Every profile, transaction, and behaviour signal is yours — portable and exportable.

How long does setup take?

About 10 minutes. Sign up, add your business, configure your reward rules, go live.

Is there any cost incurred when issuing Carrot Points to customers?

The only cost involved is the issuance fee, where 50% of the issued points value will be charged. For example, if RM1 worth of points is issued to a customer, an issuance fee of RM0.50 will apply, making the total cost RM1.50 for the transaction.
